Fantino's History as a Bully Repeating Itself

As someone who was bullied as a child, I know how to spot one a mile away as an adult. In recent months it’s become very clear to me that Julian Fantino is a Bully, and now I have the evidence to prove it. Before we take a stroll down Fantino Lane, let’s look at the dictionary definition of “Bully” to be clear how it may pertain to the current commissioner of the OPP.

For the term bullying, the following criteria must be met:

1. the behavior is aggressive and negative;

2. the behavior is carried out repeatedly;

3. the behavior occurs in a relationship where there is an imbalance of power between the parties involved

4. the behavior is purposeful.

In my humble opinion, Fantino has met these criteria so let’s find out what a “bully” is.

Bully:

A person who is habitually cruel or overbearing, especially to smaller or weaker people.

A noisy, blustering fellow, more insolent than courageous; one who is threatening and quarrelsome; an insolent, tyrannical fellow.

bullying:

bullying:

To intimidate with threats and by an overbearing, swaggering demeanor;

Persistent, offensive, abusive, intimidating, malicious or insulting behaviour, Which amounts to an abuse of power or authority, which attempts to Undermine an individual or group.

repeated oppression, psychological or physical, of a less powerful person by a more powerful person.

Now let’s read a little bit of history about Mr Fantino and see how this adds up.

“As a regular Toronto police officer, Fantino was central in one of the city’s first major racial profiling scandals, when he released race-based crime statistics to the media.”

Ex-RCMP Officer states Fantino is a bully - http://www.caledoniawakeupcall.com/news/rcmp-fantinobully.pdf

A few quotes from the above written by former RCMP Staff Seargent Bob Stenhouse.

” In 2000 when Fantino was chief of the York Regional Police, and I had given media strategy documents to an author who criticized Fantino in his book ” Hells Angels at War “. While I was critical to the policing response to organized crime, I had not been critical of Mr. Fantino personally.” ” In a Vitriolic letter written to the Commissioner of the RCMP, Mr. Fantino cited my actions as one of the most ‘corrupt’ he had witnessed in his 32 years of policing. ” ” My actions were taken for the greater public good and in his position of power he called it corruption”

” While I do not know of your politics or position, I did want you to be aware of how Mr. Fantino’s apparent inappropriate abuse of power seems to be part of his psychological make-up, which I am deeply concerned may border on the psychological make-up of what experts in the field would call a chronic bully “

Fantino lawsuit - Dec 2006 - www.cbc.ca/canada/toronto/story/2006/12/15/fantino-lawsuit.html

“Julian Fantino, Toronto’s former police chief, has been accused of being involved in the conduct of wiretaps of the chair of the Police Services Board. The allegation is one of many made in a $2.5-million lawsuit filed by Toronto police Const. Robert Correa against Fantino, Ontario Provincial Police commissioner. ” Correa is now suing Fantino, claiming the former chief targeted him in a negligent and malicious prosecution by laying charges without any evidence and using the case to “bolster his image in the media.”

Interesting behavior for sure. Now let’s fast forward to April 2007 and see what he’s been up to lately.

” Under his leadership over the past 4 months the OPP has taken a pro-active role to intimidate anyone who believes they have the Right to Free Speech. To date the following are the steps the OPP have taken:

1. Numerous press releases attacking people’s character’s

2. Creating a false charge against a resident on December 2, 2006 and placing that person in jail.

3. Illegally arresting 2 people on December 16th 2006 for trying to put up Canadian flags.

4. Illegally holding Gary Mchale in jail overnight when OPP officers admitted to the public there
were no charges.

5. Calling in the London Riot Squad on January 20th to stop people from putting up a Canadian flag.

6. Illegally removing a Canadian flag that had been put up in accordance with a 1993 Supreme Court ruling.

7. Direct intimidation of democratically elected leaders (Haldimand Council) to follow OPP example of Slandering average citizens.

8. Direct intimidation of a Democratically elected leader (Mr Grice) as an attempt to control his freedom of speech. “

Be sure to read the rest of that article here.

It is my personal belief that Julian Fantino has shown a habitual pattern of repeated aggressive and negative behavior in a relationship where there is an imbalance of power between himself, the Officers he uses to carry out his orders, and his victims whom he uses persistant, offensive, abusive, intimidating, malicious, insulting behavior against to attempt to undermine. In this case, a group of people which I happen to be a part of who refuse to stand by while he imposes his political will on the general public.

This firmly establishes him as completely incompetent to carry out the duties of any sort of authority figure let alone OPP Commissioner and makes having him in such a position of power extremely dangerous and wreckless on the part of Dalton McGuinty.

Each day that he remains in power, I am forced to be unable to trust that any Officer of the OPP is at any given time doing their job rather than carrying out personal orders from their vicious vindictive bully of a boss. I would ask that Dalton McGuinty do the right thing and fire Fantino, but I do not know of one time McGuinty has done anything right since being elected on a platform of lies several years ago. Therefore it is my sincere hope that Solicitor General Monty Kwinter will prove that someone in our government is capable of doing something right by Firing Fantino with cause.

If you would like to share your thoughts on Fantino with the one man who has the power to remove him, contact the Honorable Monty Kwinter: mkwinter.mpp.co@liberal.ola.org

This also could fit our friend from Richmond Hill. If you ask those Richmond Hill had been invovled with he too uses the same tactics. Why is it that you are quick to point the bully finger in one Direction. After having dealt with Mr. RH I would say he fits most of those catagories too. Remember. When you point a finger at someone there is always 3 pointing back at yourself. Try it. I don't expect you to leave this up long either.

If there's one thing people should have learned by now, it's never to presume to know what to expect from anyone related to Caledonia Wakeup Call. Why would I remove your comment? Because it intimates that Gary McHale is in your opinion a bully? You're entitled to your opinion, and so long as you keep it clean and don't make slanderous accusations, you are welcome to share your thoughts with everyone.

Your suggestion that Gary McHale could be bullying Fantino is very interesting. This by definition would mean you believe that Mr. McHale has more power than Fantino.

The aboriginal terrorist activities can be stopped if these four simple actions were taken;
(1) All expenses experienced since these aboriginal terrorist activities began should be deducted from native "welfare for life" cheques until the bill is paid.
(2) All native people should be given a six month notice that the "welfare for life" system is ending, and that they are expected to find employment.
(3) Any person who performs acts of terrorism in Canada should be jailed immediately, regardless of race.
(4) Fire Fantino and McGuinty.
